Maths Day Preparations

Maths Day preparations are well underway across Primary. Our learners have been busy making their products for next Wednesday's sustainable sale, in the hope of raising as much money possible for charity. This year the children have been given the challenge of spending as little money as they can, to make their products. The idea is that they should try to up-cycle or re-use as many old (or existing things), to reduce the amount of overall waste generated. Today 5G were adding their scrap fabric bracelets to their display and costing out their healthy snack boxes in readiness for next week.

Water Safety

Today our Year 3 learners were practising how to put on a life jacket efficiently and safely. They had to work at speed, without rushing or panicking, and then get themselves quickly into the water.

After School Activities Round 3

After School Activities are back and better than ever! Yesterday our ECO warriors gut stuck in to some up-cycling of old tyres, making notebooks from discarded materials around school, and constructing eco-bricks. Their message to the grownups: "stop cutting down so many trees for new paper and use less plastic!"

The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet

We were very proud of our learners for their amazing performance in The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet in the Northbridge Theatre on Thursday 30th Jan. The collaboration and social skills demonstrated by our learners were fantastic, and alongside gaining theatre skills and experience putting on a show, they leave with friendships across the city.
