International Day

What an incredible day it was for our annual International Day and the final day of LB5. Thank you so much to families who were able to come in and host activities, prepare food or those who came to join in with our celebrations. We are so grateful to have such an amazing, supportive community.

For being a fantastic communicator and working hard to use words to describe your feelings and needs.
For being a resilient learner practising his reading at home and school. I love listening to you read!
For being a great enquirer this week when researching information about owls. You then demonstrated your cooperative skills when creating a team information sheet. Well done!
You have been such a thinker when learning about fractions this week. You have also been so resilient- never giving up even when it’s challenging.
For being super focused in maths, adding and subtracting fractions as well as in literacy, writing a fantastic biography. You are such a principled learner.
For showing incredible enthusiasm and drive during our inspirational writing. You just didn’t want to stop! We loved your resilience.
For being super cooperative helping his new table team as well as the new learners in class - so kind and thoughtful. Thank you!
For your resilience and determination to pronounce three syllable words.
